Step 1 of 4
We’re building a Trade Ready program for Norfolk Island — a resource that helps travel agents, wholesalers and the wider trade sell our island accurately and with confidence.
You talk to visitors and trade every day, so you know the questions that come up again and again, the things people get wrong, and the little details that make someone fall in love with the place. We’d love to capture your thoughts and insights: the questions you get asked, and the things you think trade should know when selling our island.
There are no wrong answers. Add as much or as little as you like.
e.g. e.g. what it is, why it's World Heritage-listed, the museums and tours, what visitors shouldn't miss.
e.g. walks, Mt Pitt, birdlife, fees/permits, best time to go.
e.g. snorkelling, Emily Bay, reef safety, conditions, what's protected.
e.g. funeral protocols, Wednesday shop closures, Norf'k language & greetings, respecting locals.
e.g. drinking water, passport / ID requirements, money & cards, driving & roaming cattle, pharmacy / medical, power & plugs.
e.g. Bounty / Pitcairn descendants, convict history (KAVHA), Bounty Day, what's a must-see.
e.g. local produce, fish fries, where to eat, duty-free, anything visitors should try.
e.g. flights, car hire, taxis, walking, accessibility.
Something we haven't listed that trade should know about? Name it and fill in the boxes below.
